Other Random Happenings

Not much going on around here worth reporting. Of course, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot going on. I feel like we are always busy and always on the go. Lots of doctors appointments including a staple in Jake’s head thanks to a fall down the stairs during roughhousing with a certain twin sister. Also dentist appointments, play dates, trips to the grocery store, and other errands. Grace will be starting ballet again in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we’ll have better luck this time around. To the Circus!

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids to the circus.  They really loved the part where we got to go down and see all the animals before the show.  The seemed to enjoy the actual show, although at 3 hours long, it was way too long to hold their attention the whole time.  Can you say expensive?!?  The tickets themselves weren’t cheap, but that was only the beginning.  We spent $45 on 2 snow cones and 2 cotton candies.  Yikes!  I’m glad we went and had the experience, but I’d rather just go to the zoo next time.
