I love being a mom!

I'm sitting here on the couch with the cutest little baby on my lap thinking about how blessed I am to be a mom. Don't get me wrong, it's a hard job, but I can't imagine anything more worthwhile. I love my guys!

Friends

The other day I was getting all the kids in the car to go somewhere (I don't remember where we were going), and as Grace is climbing in to get in her carseat, she decides that her doll needs to ride with Clare. She gently situates her doll right next to Clare and proceeds to climb on back into her own carseat. I thought it was so adorable, so I grabbed the camera and took a picture.

An Evening at the YMCA

Last friday we headed out to the Y as soon as Daddy got home from work. We didn't realize it when we went, but they were having a Christmas in July party with ice in the pool and snowcones. It was a bit crowded but we all had a good time.

Yay for toys!

Clare is finally to the point where she will play a little bit instead of sleeping 24/7. She mainly likes to hit the buttons in the exersaucer or sit in the bumbo seat and watch me clean or G&J play. It's a start! ...and for memory's sake, here are posts with G&J in their exersaucers and bumbos.

Cloth Diapers again!

Now that she is big enough for the cloth diapers I have, we have switched Clare to cloth. I honestly forgot how easy it is! It really isn't much more work than disposables, and it's much better for our budget and the environment. Of course, they are a little more bulky, but I think it's cute!

Fourth of July

We had a busy, fun, exhausting 4th! We started by meeting up with some friends at Starbucks. Then we went to the 4th of July parade, came home for lunch and nap (which didn't happen despite our best efforts), and then went swimming in the afternoon. Finally we went to dinner and watched fireworks down by the waterway. We got home at 11 and plopped into bed. It was a great day!

Bye Bye Baba!

Yay! We are finally baba (paci) free! We convinced Jake to trade his baba in for a toy. He picked James the train. No more babas here! I must admit, it has gone MUCH better than I thought it would!
