Jake's on the move!

Yesterday Jake rolled from back to front for the first time. He has been able to roll front to back for months, so now he can go both ways. He has spent the last two days rolling from back and forth. It is hilarious and just too cute! You can just tell he is so proud of his new trick!

We have a TON of pictures!

I am currently undertaking quite a daunting task. I'm trying to get all our pictures organized so that I can have an organized backup. I bet we have at least 500 pictures of Grace and Jake. I've been working on it for about two hours and I still have a lot more to go! I guess this might be my project for the week rather than just for today. Wish me luck...

I've made this goal before...

and it only lasted a week or so, but I'm going to give it another try. I am going to try and get to bed by 10:30 (11 at the very latest). Hopefully, I will be a little more diligent this time. We shall see. Since it's 10:20, I guess I should head that direction...

I AM SO BAD!

George pointed out to me that it has been a week since I have posted. Yikes! I will try to be better. Sometimes I feel like my life is the same most days and I don't want to bore you with repetitiveness.

This week is George's spring break, so he hasn't had class on Tuesdays and Thursdays like he normally does. On Tuesday, it was a beautiful day so we decided to drive down to Galveston and walk around on The Strand. We came across a store named Gracie's that sells some really cute stuff. It had an awesome sign so we took Grace's picture with it.

Then Yesterday we both went and got haircuts! I haven't had a real haircut since last June. My mom did cut my hair once in December, but it had been forever since I had a professional haircut. We also went and walked around the Galleria instead of going to the park like we usually do because it was H-U-M-I-D here yesterday.

I weighed the babies on our scale here at the house (not exact, I know) and Jake weighs 13.5 pounds and Grace weighs 14 pounds. Our babies are getting so big!

So that's pretty much what we've been up to this week. It's been busy but fun!

They're Growing Up

Today I bought some baby spoons, bowls, and sippy cups in preparation for our upcoming adventure into the world of solid foods which will occur in about another month. Wahhhhh! My babies are growing up! Can't they just stay little forever?!?

5 Months Old

Not much new here, just can't believe Grace and Jake are already 5 months old. Only one more month until our lives get further complicated by the introduction of solid foods. Now those will be some great pics...
